I've also wanted to do a Pyrrha story, but lack the knowledge of Soul Calibur outside of some stuff I've seen here and there and read off wikis, and the patience to look up the V story mode (because I've heard it's pretty bad) to do so.

There's also the kerfuffle of the weapons; I don't want to ignore them completely, but I'm not much for the girls seriously hurting each other, and while I've been able to work around it here and there, it's always an elephant in the room when they fight with slashing and stabbing weapons.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from with that. That's actually the issue I used to have in regards to not just Soulcalibur but also my two (now... three... with my recent Mai Natsume thoughts...) BlazBlue fanfics since the girls mostly wield dangerous weaponry and in-canon can cause lethal damage. However, I'm a firm believer in, for the sake of... um... 'storytelling', of the whole 'set swords to stun' concept (just like the actual fighting in rhe game proper) so that doesn't get in the way of what we really want to see. For Pyrrha (and other like characters with divine weaponry/powers) I've already came up with a hand wave excuse for why she wouldn't outright kill her mirror in battle with her mothers sword and shield giving her 'divine protection' from life threatening blows while she's busy fighting herself... and as,far as the story itself... well. SC5 left out a ton of details due to its rush development so there's plenty of room for personal touches... (besides... I'm pretty sure people wouldn't mind her brother Patroklos to be as FAR away from the fun stuff as possible...) But all and all, that's my approach to that; simply handwaving the nasty stuff out of the way of the mirror girl action altogether.

In regards to writing around slashing and stabbing weapons, just use the most basic rules of censorship on tv: The weapons in question cannot touch another person and are only able to interact with the environment. It's pretty easy to do if they have magic since you can chalk it up to energy based attacks or enviornmental attacks with a swing. If they don't then have them clash, use them to cut into traps, or do creative things that may look stupid but are effective in using the weapon not to directly be the cause of harming another person.

Boy I really need to catch up on my reading though. Especially your guys stuff. I'm so far behind and I wanna see all the sexy stories I've been missing ^^. Good luck in your writing as always Mr2 ^^.
